Red Hat was the presenting sponsor of the Open Source Pavilion at South by Southwest (SXSW) Create March 10-12, 2017. The Palmer Events Center served as host to tech enthusiasts, SXSW attendees, local families, schools, and universities. For a second time at SXSW Create, Red Hat facilitated collaboration on a large scale.

Attendees who visited the Collaboration Greenhouse created more than 1,500 paper flowers to contribute to our oversized community garden. What began as a blank canvas evolved over the course of three days into a colorful metaphor for participation and collaboration.

As the world’s leading open source software company, we believe that, through collaboration, we can achieve more things than we can alone. Together, we brought the Collaboration Greenhouse to life. If you’re interested in making your own community garden, download the Red Hat Collaboration Garden flower design kit and share your work on social using #SXRedHat.
