Virtual Workshop - Migrating from CentOS Linux with Convert2RHEL Toolkit

Virtual Workshop

12:30 PM - 2:00 PM SGT | 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM AEST | 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM IST

With the CentOS Linux® 7 end of life approaching in June 2024, organizations currently face a choice. CentOS Linux users must migrate to a new operating system to continue receiving updates, patches, and new features.

While implementing a new operating system may seem tedious, it also presents an opportunity to reassess your organization’s needs and choose a platform that will better support your business and IT strategies now and in the future.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux brings a range of benefits to simplify fleet management, improve security, and reduce risk for your organization.

Convert2RHEL is a no-cost, fully supported migration tool that simplifies the CentOS migration process while maintaining existing customizations, configurations, and preferences. It’s an automated way to convert to Red Hat Enterprise Linux — instead of manually redeploying all your workloads.

Join Red Hat® to discuss and prepare for the upcoming CentOS Linux end of life, and get hands-on with the Convert2RHEL tool.

TOPICS COVERED:

  • CentOS Linux end of life
  • Why choose Red Hat Enterprise Linux?
  • Introduction to Convert2RHEL and demo
  • Convert2RHEL hands-on lab
