In this month’s customer success highlights, you’ll learn how Nymbus, Cepsa and the Asian Development Bank used a variety of Red Hat solutions and services to increase flexibility and scalability, improve response times and productivity, and save hundreds of work hours per year.

Nymbus runs digital banking services on Red Hat OpenShift and Nutanix HCI

Nymbus provides niche solutions to help community banks and credit unions launch and support digital banking services. To improve flexibility and support rapid growth, Nymbus decided to move its portfolio platform in-house with Red Hat OpenShift running on Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI).

This container-based infrastructure from Red Hat and Nutanix helps the company rapidly develop and deliver new, innovative services to its customers at scale — while maintaining critical security compliance through joint expert support.

Nymbus has experienced a variety of benefits as a result of this new system, including:

  • Enhanced flexibility to deliver new features faster.

  • Improved scalability to support rapid business growth.

  • Improve the ability to meet strict industry security and compliance requirements.

  • Expanding container success to new projects.

Cepsa automates IT to achieve operational efficiency with Red Hat

Global energy and chemical company Cepsa needed to increase efficiency and stay compliant while reducing costs, risk and downtime. To achieve this, Cepsa began automating processes to save work hours, improve service response times, mitigate risk and transform organizational culture.

Building on previous success with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Red Hat OpenShift, Cepsa decided to extend its existing Ansible usage across the business with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, including for its SAP migration. Working in close collaboration with Red Hat Consulting, the company established automation as a core pillar of its innovation strategy, led by an automation manager. As a result, Cepsa increased productivity by 35% and increased response times by 10–15%.

In just a few months, Cepsa completed its SAP S/4HANA migration and, within a year, automated more than 400 IT operations processes. You can read more about Cepsa’s successes in the full case study, or watch a video overview here.

Asian Development Bank saves hundreds of hours by automating infrastructure management with Red Hat

Headquartered in the Philippines, Asian Development Bank (ADB) works to eradicate extreme poverty in the Asia-Pacific region by providing developing member countries with loans, grants, equity investments and technical assistance. To continue offering relevant, timely services in the face of natural disasters, climate change and pandemics, ADB sought to modernize and automate its IT infrastructure.

With Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform running in a managed cloud environment, ADB saves hundreds of work hours each year. Automated monitoring, patching and remediation help protect the organization’s IT environments and resources from vulnerabilities and human errors. As a result, ADB’s IT teams can focus on building and delivering innovative, user-friendly digital services.

ADB also worked closely with Red Hat Consulting to identify and prioritize use cases for its new automation technology, then plan an optimal architecture and complete provisioning.
