Microsoft Azure Red Hat OpenShift
A fully managed turnkey application platform that helps organizations increase operational efficiency, focus on innovation, and quickly build, deploy, and scale applications.
Product details
Turnkey application platform
Rely on a turnkey application platform with built-in CI/CD, monitoring and developer tooling to get started quickly and offload the ongoing management of your applications.
Global SRE expertise
Reduce operational complexity with automated deployment and management, backed by a global Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team. Focus on building and scaling applications, including AI-enabled apps, rather than managing infrastructure.
Native Azure service
Access a native Azure service on demand from the Azure console. The service is jointly engineered, operated and supported by Microsoft and Red Hat – and billed directly through Microsoft. Seamlessly integrate with other Azure native tools.
Security and compliance
Maintain security and compliance regulations and gain greater confidence in the controls that govern data access, storage, and security vulnerabilities. Azure Red Hat OpenShift is also generally available on Microsoft Azure for U.S. Government.
Streamlined hybrid cloud deployment
Gain a production-ready application platform that many enterprises already use on-premises today, making it easier and faster to shift workloads to Azure as business needs change.
Global availability
Access Azure Red Hat OpenShift in 30+ regions supported by Microsoft Azure. To ensure the highest resiliency, cluster components are deployed across 4 Azure Availability Zones in supported Azure regions.
Benefits
Deliver applications quickly using a turnkey application platform.
One platform for multiple workloads
Operationalize AI in less time
OpenShift AI on Azure Red Hat OpenShift offers a stable and consistent platform so that data science and DevOps teams can collaborate effectively from experimentation to production.
Fine-tune models
Customize and fine-tune models with private, enterprise data to cost-effectively deliver quality models and reach your business goals.
Integrate MLOps and DevOps workflows
Implement continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) for data science pipelines and integrate them with DevOps pipelines so developers can connect models to applications.
Choose AI partners
Choose from Red Hat’s certified partners like NVIDIA, Intel, AMD, and other ISVs for AI accelerators, data ingestion and storage, engineering, governance, and more.
Migrate and modernize virtual machines
OpenShift Virtualization, included with Azure Red Hat OpenShift, lets you migrate and manage virtual machines (VMs) and containers on a cloud-native platform.
Migrate your VMs
Simplify VM migration from legacy platforms with the migration toolkit for virtualization and Red Hat Ansible® Automation Platform, reducing downtime, risk, and complexity for an efficient transition.
Optimize costs
Cut costs by right-sizing VMs to match workload needs. Take advantage of the Azure Hybrid Benefit for Linux® virtual machines to reuse Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows licenses, maximizing value and minimizing spend.
Modernize for the future
Unify VMs and containers on one platform, and unlock a path to AI and cloud-native development while ensuring consistency across on-premise, cloud, and edge environments.
